THEORY OF MUSIC
The majority of these lessons are 30 minutes; however this can be extended for special purposes i.e. audition preparation, exam preparation and University entrance.
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Grade 5 Theory Exam is a pre-requisite for taking the higher grade practical exams (Grades 6, 7 & 8). Most universities offering any sort of music course will normally require applicants to hold Grade 5 Theory Exam. Specialist Schools of Music will require Grade 5 or higher for entrance purposes.
