ABOUT ROSEMARY
Originally from Nottingham, Rosemary is a professionally trained musician who studied Music and History at Nottingham Trent University from 1988 to 1991. She was awarded the Certificate of Teaching from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 1998.
She has had her own private teaching practice since 1991, having taught for 8 years in Melton Mowbray, before moving to Solihull in 1999.
She was the resident piano teacher at Rosslyn Independent School in Hall Green, Birmingham.
As well as running a thriving teaching practice, Rosemary still finds time to perform in a variety of amateur groups in and around Solihull. These include Solihull Chandos Choir, Union Theatre, Knowle Musical Society, St Alphege Musical Theatre Production Society, Central Stage School and Wythall Theatre Company.
Prior to moving to Solihull, Rosemary also sang with the Nottingham Harmonic Society, Nottingham Bach Society and the Rutland Singers.
In December 2015, Rosemary graduated from The University of Birmingham with a Masters Degree in Creative Writing (Merit). She was the Poetry and Arts Editor for The Birmingham Journal of Literature and Language 2013-2015.
She is the Musical Director for The Harlequins Youth Drama Group in Redditch.
She is also a regular reviewer for the theatre and performing arts website Love Midlands Theatre.
